Car went crazy, need help

I bought a car with a toasted engine (fire and no compression) and bought a reman and bunch of mods (see sig) plus stuff to replace all burned stuff.
I put everything together out of the car then dropped it in last weekend.

Today I hooked up my S-AFC and plugged in the engine harness to the ECU.

When I turned the key to the ON position my car started buzzing (loud like the coolant buzzer sound) plus all the waring lights were on all together.
The buzzing and lights stay on until I turn the ignition off.

The S-AFC comes on and seems to work OK.

Dont worry I haven't tryed to start the car or anything just turned the key to on to check if i hooked the S-AFC OK.

Whats going on?

Thanks in advance

i dunno but it sounds familiar to my situation today. i knew my alt was gone, and i was running on a battery boost, and like 8 volts, if that. and the buzzer ur talking about came on too. i think its either ur battery or check all the grounds, check all teh fuses, and also check ur alt.

The buzz could be the rev limiter honk thing... Your idiot lights should all come on, until the engine is started and has run for a 1/4 second.

Thanks for the ideas I'll try them.

What are all the possible reasons for the warning buzzer? (coolant oil level etc.)

Sounds like the lights being on while the key is on the on position is OK then. I just need to address the buzzing.

Anyone else have any other ideas. I'm going to try today. Just need some ideas to try and trouble shoot.

Are you sure that it isnt your coolant level sensor? The buzzer will still come on if the coolant level is low, and the car is not running. And yes, while the key is to the "on" position, and the car is not running, all(well most) warning lights will come on.
