car wants to turn over but doesnt help
ok guys i just bought a 1990 gtu the car sometimes wants to turn over but it doesnt can anyone help me out and is there a way i can tell if my motor is blown

gosh dude your killin me it could be hundreds of things could have a massive vaccum leak could have bad gas could have a bad coil could have carbon built up on the rotors so it wont get compression theres so many things it could be with out you just saying it sounds like it will start please tell me you understand what im trying to say to you

It does have gas.
I am giving all info that I have at this time. This week I am getting a new battery and try cranking it. I took the kids word so I have not touched the car yet and also I was working my plan below. The intake pipe and filter is ghetto rigged. He also messed with the oiling part that oils the apex seals. I have a feeling that the motor is toast....but like I have said I have not touched the car since I bought it. I have been reading up on rotary engines. It is my first.
My plan was buy a motor and swap it in.
I am still looking to get a motor, but I want my car up for the last 2 drift days in my area. The rebuild quotes that I have gotten are in the range from 2000 and 4000. I really dont want to pay that much for an na motor. If it was a turbo motor I would (I'm a huge fan of turbo motors)
Any help would be great.

are you talking about the oil metering pump. so he was pre mixing? i think you need to know more about your car you should probably talk to the guy that sold it to you and get exactly what happened. and what mods he has done. and right them down so you know what exactly is done to your car.

hey. My 88t2 has the same problem after the rebuild. Any ideas. It has everything new good used rotors, housings and atkins rebuild and cleaned injectors. And like I said turn but it won't crank.
