car starts immediately but stalls at idle

car starts immediately but stalls at idle
86 GXL
i recently replaced the master and slave clutch cylinders and put in a new battery. As soon as i started it, the car would stall every time i go under 1000 rpms. It has no problem starting up every time, but im not going to drive it any more until this issue is fixed.
I checked the battery terminals...theyre fine...and the lights dont ever flicker when my car is stalling.
I think ive narrowed it down to 2 things: A) air filter B) injectors
any thoughts?
