Car starts going jerking around 5k RPMS in 2ndgear

Is it this?
The dreaded 3800 RPM hesitation is cause 90% of the time by poor ground connections between the engine, the battery, and the car. Clean or replace all the under hood ground connections. On 86 model year cars , replacing/regrounding the pressure sensor's ground wire has helped (do not re-ground a 87 or later model year). If there is still a problem after that, look at cleaning the fuel injectors and (on a N/A) that your 5th/6th ports are operating correctly.

It only happens in 2nd gear. So i dont think its this. It starts going back and It only happens sometimes as well. Any idea what this might be?

no it's not that.

however, regrounding the car is definitely worth a try.
If it's just a little jerk, could be a fuel related problem in which case regrounding might help.
It would also help to know what kind of car we're talkin about

Why would I not want to reground a 87 or later fc? Are there draw backs?

oh sorry lol its a 88 N/A. I just drove it around a few and i guess it has stoped. ( i just got the car up and running less then a week ago and its my first RX7. I noticed it started happening on the same road around the same area. ( it happened twice) i guess its just the road that was doing it since i didnt have the problem anywhere else. Although regrounding does sound like a good idea to prevent future problems.
