Car stalls out when braking

So, I have a s5 TII motor in my 1990 Rx7.

A couple of days ago I noticed this problem.
I'll be driving and when I roll to a stop sign or a stop light, my foot off the clutch, off the gas, and the car in neutral, and when I hit the brakes, the car dies.

I've talked to a couple of different people and some said it could be my throttle body sensor, another guy said it could be a leak in a vacum line, or even a leak in the brake booster.

I've been searching for more information on it, but I'm not sure exactly what it is.

Has anyone else ever had this problem or have any clue to what it is?

I'm gonna try to test my throttle body sensor tommorrow in school if all else fails.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Shaina

Sounds like a vac leak. Check the hose/line that goes from the booster to the manifold, booster could be bad and well I suppose.

Brake master diaphragm is probably leaking.

Yeah, the only time the car stalls out is when I hit the brakes, but it doesn't always happen.

I've been noticing a lot more pressure in my brakes too, like I step on the brake pedal and it feels like a sort of pressure forces it a lil bit up.

Thanks, I'll try and check vaccum lines and all of that tommorrow.

How often do you add fluid? I have to fill the reservoir once a week. I believe my Brake Master needs a rebuild and the Booster is sucking in all of my fluid. If I'm at a dead stop I can get my idle to almost stall the car out if I hit the brakes repeatedly.

I'd put my money on the brake booster vac lines too. If they've never been replaced, they're going to be extremely brittle by now. Just remember one of them has a check valve if you do need to replace them.

Id say your probably idling too low as is...so when you hit the brakes the car chokes. Try raising the idle 1 or 2 hundred rpm as a temp fix.

Random guesses above, real problem below...

As mentioned above, your TPS might be out of adjustment or there is a slim chance the booster is leaking. I've never seen one of these boosters fail.

The actual problem is likely a bad or sticking BAC valve.

I have the exact same problem in my 91 N/A (auto). it doesn't do it all the time when i come to a stop, but somedays it'll do it everytime. And i haven't tried to fix it yet for some reason... although i'm not reall sure what the problem is either.
