Car sputters after 4 thousand

I just got a new 87 GXL and it runs near perfect completely stock, except it wont let me get past 4 grand. soon as i hit 4 thousand it sputters and sputters and completely stops accelerating. any ideas on wtf is going on?

i think it could be my secondary injectors...

Those come on at 3800 rpms.

Injectors, tps, or fuel filter.

according to RETED, it would be because your engine is cold

according to anyone with ANY intelligence, it is your 3800rpm hesitation

i trust people with intelligence
