Did you smell gas?, any smoke from the exhaust? Milky oil? bubbles in your coolant? The wet spot, if you put your finger in it, what would the liquid look / smell like?

Sounds like coolant. Coolant smells sweet, fuel smells strongly of gasoline. You'd know if it was fuel. Your coolant buzzer didn't go off? There should be a wire connected to the top of the radiator. You need that buzzer or you could destroy your engine without knowing it.

Check the hoses and the radiator for leaks. Don't drive around like this. An overheat (coolant) or an engine fire (fuel) could both destroy your engine.

you most likely blew a coolant hose on the throttle body..there is a small hose back there...Behind the throttle body and between the Firewall..you will have to check..CHECK your Coolant..

white smoke is a ghost leaving your engine. don't drive it until you get that fixed or your engine is toast. definately check coolant (drain and refill if there might be water in it) and while it idles, watch the heat guage for high heat levels. white smoke is no good my friend!

I'd say skipping idle is lack of gasoline, whenever I'm low on gas it chugs at idle....
