Ok guys, I have a 1988 S4 T2 Chassis. My (engine/tranny) is an 89 S5 j-spec swap (rebuilt/streetported @banzai-racing.com)

QUESTION= What counterweight do I need! (S4, 86-88) or (S5, 89and up) ??????

I'm buying the xact prolite flywheel and need to know which counterweight to buy.

the motor doesn't come with one?
if u were going to use s4 tranny u wouldn't need one i don't think.. so ur front and rear counter weight be out
but.. hmm motor should have one front and rear

 

S5 motor = S5 counterweight.

 

s5 turbo motor=s5 turbo counter weight(this applies to the rear only of cource)
non turbo is diffrent fyi

front counter weight is under the front cover,i.e. its already on there.

 

You need a Series 5 turbo counterweight.

 

The non turbo is not different. Any S5 FC or FD counterweight will work. Front and rear.

Nope, just bolts to the flywheel.
