IN car to rich

ok i have a 86 n/a with a header and a cone filter i think my car running super rich. because my car had gas in the oil and im leaned it out a little but how do i know when its is good. i dont wanna lean it to much so were how would i know when to quit leaning it out

How did you "lean it out"?

When was the last time the car had a full tuneup?

Is your PCV system working?

umm the lean richen thing by the tower and whats the pcv. i changed wires spark plugs and oil all at the same time does that count as a tune up

That only adjusts the mixture at idle.

get a rtek or a SAFC and a good wideband o2 sensor.
