LOL, I actually remember Mazdaspeed7 and some other people mentioning that if you cut off the washer from the plugs you can get a tad more power, but I don't think it's anything to shat yourself over.

go down to the drag strip and look at the plugs on the drag motors, you will see colored lines on them indicating a clock position. i really have no clue how much of a difference it would make on a rotary or what clock position works best but when you have your own dyno to spend hours upon hours to try and squeeze out another 1-2HP i guess it is all relative.

I wish I had a dyno to play with all I wanted, I'd definitely try and put some of the BS myths on this board to death! OMG e-fan adds like 10hp!!1 And things like that...
