car is no longer burning oil at all
I bought my '90 convertible about 2 months ago and it usually burns a couple quarts of mobil every thousand miles. I check the oil every few days and i've noticed it seems to have not burned any oil at all since a few hundred miles ago. I'm very worried that i may have broken some sort of pump since i can hear a distinct , loud clicking sound. I'm not completely sure because it is only through first gear. I'm new to the rotary so please give me any advise you can ....

its prorobly a broken vacume hose, or the mop is clogged. i suggest simply runing premix. get a gallon of it at wallmart. the one in the blue bottle. and run about every ounce to every gallon of gas you put in your tank . thats a nice round figure.
the ticking sound might be bad though.

Like previously stated, premix now, and the check OMP. Engine won't last long without proper lubrication. Mine stopped using oil like that also, 1990 vert, n/a, after I fixed the leak. HEHEHEHE Seriously, premix, and check OMP. Don't want another post on dead engine, hate to seem the pass.
