Before I write this I should inform you guys that my car does not have a working starter at the moment... Ok so yesterday I went in reverse around 15 mph to get out of a street. When I got to the end of the steet I stuck it into first while the car was still rolling slowly and gave it gas but not enough to move it forward, so I stalled.... I then had my freind push me so we could push start the car like I had done for the past week without my starter. This time the car didnt even crank... It just kind of bogged... So I figured that I somehow flooded the engine. I then removed the spark plugs to see if I could drain the fuel out but it did'nt work. I decided to let it sit over night. This morning I tried to start it again but same thing..Engine just boggs... No crank..Nothing. Everyone knows you need fuel, air and spark to have a running engine. So I checked the plugs to see if maybe they just werent delivering enough spark. My car has been running really rich since I bought it so I think that it needs a propper tune up. Anyways the spark plugs look like ****.. So they are gonna need replacing. I am stumped I dont know how to get my car started. I need to get it started so I can do a propper tune up and replace the starter since one of the bolts that hold the starter is striped I need to torch it off.... . Any suggestions would help tanx guys.

 

take the plugs out again and get a big enough socket to fit the main pulley and see if you can even turn the engine over. when you say the engine just boggs, what do you mean causes boggs sounds like the engine is running just poorly
