This morning as I’m driving to work, as I’m cruising in forth gear I floor it to pass a car, as the rpm’s hit 5000, it starts to hesitate, and the car jerks back and forth about 7 times. I recently started to notice this problem a couple days before but never this severe. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it. Any ideas of what it might be PLEASE post…. Thanks much....

If it matter its a 1988...N/A with moderate streetporting, cols air intate, and racing beat headers and presilencer, no emmisions either....

Adjust the TPS? Although the jerking is is usually more noticable in 1 or2nd gear if it's the TPS.
