sometimes, maybe once every two weeks, my car has an idle problem. I start it, and immediately i can tell its doing it. the rpms constantly bog out if i don't press the gas, whenever i turn the wheel, it almost stalls out, and my oil pressure shoots through the roof when i press the gas. I had to get it towed once already because it completely died out.


my cousin came over and tested some wires, found a couple that were a little fused together from the heat, pulled them apart and then it started up fine. The problem went away for a while, happened again the other night but i let it sit for about 30 minutes and it went away..

any suggestions?


oh and also it seems to only happen when i mention the words "car show", "cruise", or "pictures". i dont think my car likes those words.

Check the FSM and go through the idle problem checklist. It could be vacuum related or your BAC not working properly.
