While i was driving around the block, i saw steam evaporating from my engine, so i drove home, then shut the engine. Minutes later, i popped the hood and try to start the engine. Engine rotates, but wouldn't start. Did i flood my engine???

at nuetral, my car idle at 2700 rpm..Is that normal?? (engine is jdm)

steam? where is the steam comming from? is it comming out the exauhst?

 

after about 30 minutes, i went outside to start the car. Luckily, it started. Next day, i added more coolant and noticed there was a leak on the hose, so i fixed it.

 

2700rpm idle, is that with the car fully warmed up or when it just starts and is still cold? it's normal to rev up there and hold for iirc 20-30 seconds but after that it should drop

 

i drove to the store and it was fine. However, on the way home it idle at 2700rpm. When it is in gear, it drops lower.
