Im loosing faith in these cars !!! my T2 only idles somtimes when i come to lights. it stalls 30 % of the time. its quite annoying cuz u always havto watch it, city driving, and when i have the music on somtimes i dont even notice it stalled so i put the foot to the floor and it doesnt go im like wtf ! and then its flooded and wont start. once i had to get out in the middle of an intersection and take out the fuse it was rather embarrasing. anyone know how to make a fuel cutoff switch ? or pages how to ? thanks

 

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Is your BOV venting to atmosphere? Whats your base idle when at normal operating temp?

 

did u try adjusting the idle at all via the BAC screw? my T2 would have a low idle or stall at some intersections...but i turned it up and now its fine again.

My bac is messed. when i turn it, it doesnt do ****. and if i jump the connection it stalls. I even put a brick on the pedal to rev up to 1500 and then i jumped the connnector but it didnt do ****. so i dunno wtf is going on. as far as my bac venting to the atmosphere. i dont knw what that means. If you woudl be so kind to explain it a lil, sorry im not a mechanic
