car hits a wall at 5000 rpm after 720cc sec install

Ok, I just installed my 720cc secondaries, and now the car seems to hit a wall at about 5000 rpm. The car feels like I let off the gas, just no more power. The car will rev higher, but i did not want to see how high becausse the car falls flat on its face.

I have not installed my SAFC2 yet because i did not want to start a new project until i knew what was up with the injectors. Do you think the injetors are just dumping loads of fuel into the car at the top end?

The car is an 89 TII, new rebuild, stock ports, stock intercooler, stock turbo set at 10psi, rb turboback exhaust, 3inch TID, 255 walbro, mbc, FCD, and soon a SADC2.

Are you running stock or some mods, I wonder.................are you getting too much fuel now due to the fact you went bigger on injectors. Bigger injectors make no sense if your not running a fuel management system/running at least 300+ hp's

I do have a SAFC2 sitting in my garage ready to hookup but I did not want to hook it up if this was a problem with something else, like the injectors not working or something.

I dont know whats wrong, any theories?

Install your SAFC, and cut back the fuel after 4000 rpms. You're getting too much fuel now.

Dont cut it back to much...I'd look into grounds and or the pressure sensor.

are the injectors you got high or low impedence? do you have some kind of monitering tool in your car..aka widebad or narrow band guage? that will tell you if you are going lean or rich..

i have a narrowband A/F guage, but like all narrowband guages it is close to useless.I have not started tuning the SAFC2 yet, i just got done putting it in, and i went ahead and bought myself a wideband guage and O2 sensor. So in the next couple of days i will start tuning it down.
