Car Felt REALLY Weird?!?!

It got down to like 25 degrees last night, with a wind chill of like -2 degrees. I drove home from a friends house at 5 am, and the car felt very strange. The clutch felt mushy, as did the brakes. And it never came off of "C" on the temp gauge. Throttle response SUCKED! Is all of this normal for a cold rex to do? I live in Texas, so temps like this are NOT normal for this time of year, and I have never driven my car this cold before!

Cold start didn't disengage the secondary double throttle plates, so your secondaries never really opened.

I'm in Ft Worth and drove just fine Saturday in both the na and turbo(except for extra 1-2 psi on the boost gauge). I think it was in the low 20's(temperature).

All it does is cause your engine to run rich.&nbsp Fouling spark plugs is about as bad as it gets.

It shouldnt be doing that
I have to rx7 and they are fine. I live in upper michigan. Which is way the hell above Wisconsin almost in canada. The feburary temps run between 30 and -15. I have never had that problem and the only difference i have noticed is that the battery fricken dies from getting to cold if you dont start your car enough. I would check into your problem. It was -10 and I started my rex cold didnt warm it up took it on the highway and drove 70mph and it still warmed up. Just thought you would like some insight from one of us artic guys up north.

It could be possible the cold start fast idle system isn't working correctly.&nbsp Possible coolant passages to and from the throttle body are clogged?
