i have a s4 turbo II and we just put a j-spec motor in it. the car runs great but it wont hold idle!!! at the stoplight i have to hold the gas and brake or else it will turn off. is there a wire that may be disconected? what about a vacuum? anyone got some suggestions?

 

First, I would suggest doing a search. This has probably been covered many times.

Anywho... might be a vacuum leak, maladjusted tps/afm, etc, etc.

yeah, it means the swap was done poorly and things are not hooked up.

As hermit says, you probably have either a vac leak, or mis-adjusted TPS, but could be a whole range of poblems due to things not being hooked up or adjusted correctly.

 

how would i know if it where the afm?
