car dies when letting clutch go

I have a problem, especially on little hills, where I shift into first, then I'll slowly let the clutch go and give it power. The car seems to die pretty quickly. My dad thinks it might be something clutch related. Any ideas? I only know how to explain the problem so I can't search something specific. thanks..

jumps around when letting it off, or while accelerating? It sounds to me you have worn the clutch down to the rivets that hold the friction material in place.

What year?
How many miles on current clutch?
Stock factory clutch or aftermarket?
Does car idle at one steady RPM in neutral without giving it gas?

your clutch is Toast Dude.
If you still have some Grab on the Clutch,NOW is the time to replace it,Before you Wreck the **** out of the flywheel.
