car dies when let off the gas after warmed up

long title i know, but as it says, after she is warmed up, after any amount of driving it will idle most times but if i abruptly let off gas i have a 50 50 shot of it wanting to just die, yes i can keep it alive by tapping the gas, i think it is choking itself out because when i watch my wideband it is ok-lean then off gas straight lean and dead. what would cause this? tps?

87 t2 with walbro aeromotive fpr emissions removed full turbo back exhaust....

You might want to check the Dashpot as it prevents the throttle plates from closing too abruptly which can kill the engine when the pedal is quickly let off of especially when you need to come to an abrupt stop. When the car is running at 3000 rpm the throttle linkage on the rear of the throttle body should just come into contact with the White nozzle that juts out from the Dashpot. I believe this is stated in the FSM (Engine and Emissions section).

Interesting. I'll have to check that out... I may be having a dashpot issue.
