I have this problem that i cant track down why but its my engine fuse under the dash. goes out every 100 miles or so. sucks that i cant track down why its happening. i just keep a hand full of fuses in the rear deck, and never drive as much in it anymore.

Okay.. How does a car just suddenly flood when its running? Answer is, it doesnt.

First I would check fuses, as previously stated, then I would go ahead and pull a plug and see if its wet.

Well i think i founf out what the problem is. Went to check the fuel lines, filter, and pump. Blew threw the filter check out ok, fuel lines checked out ok, then started the car to see if fuel spits out and dry. Also checked fuel pump relay and connections. So iam allmost positive its the pump. Is there any thing else to check b/f i get a new pump. And is the fuel pump from advance auto parts good enough its only 110.

Is the "little wet" fuel? It's probably an electrical problem. Are you getting spark? I'm assuming the car turns over but won't catch....

The wetness hes talking about is on his trailing spark plugs yearrgh. It's going to have to be fuel. . . or condensation.

A good way to help with when your car floods is to rig up a fuel cut off switch. Just leave it off while you try to turn the car over and when it sounds like its about to turn over, turn on the fuel.

Buy a Walbro, its the same price and works wonders. Or if your fuel savey buy a 3rd gen fuel pump.

My point is that if it is fuel on his spark plugs he probably doesn't have a problem with the fuel pump. Walbro's kick ***, but you don't need one for a stock car. Anywho, I'm off to the bar, so good luck.

I blew straight threw the filter. Its works fine and like i said i discounected th fuel line from the fuel filter turned it over and no fuel came out. So it has to be the pump. I wish i could get the walbro but have to get it fixed by tommarow dont have time to wait for shipping.

I would double check relays and fuses before getting a pump....just to make sure it's not electrically....you can use a jumper wire to turn the pump on and see if any fuel comes out

It has to just be the pump. Though check the wiring from the fuel pump. Try following it maybe it's messed up in a certain area. I actually doubt it, but since all fingers point to the pump it wouldnt hurt.
