car died in the middle of the highway
I Was driving today down route 1 to get the aligment done at pepboys and I stopped at the light and suddently the car died in the middle of the road I had to push it to the closest parking lot to see what happend. The car cranks but it wont start i cheked everything and I didnt see anything wrong.
Now i have no clue what could be the problem I recently installed a microtech lt8s and I swap a tii a motor, I also have a walbro 255 fuel pump installed, manual boost controles and full 3 inches catback no cats.
Can you guys give some ideas what it could be ?
Thanks a lot for your help

Well it would help if you told us exactly what you checked.. Did you check for spark, fuel, try checking the compression. You might have flooded it out by trying to crank it, maybe it fouled the plugs while idling because your lt8 isnt tuned yet? Too many variables.. give us some more info.
I had the same thing happem to me last weekend, I think mine is a blown seal. here is my post and what ever one told me to check.

The lt8s is not tunned yet what i check was for an like any vack leak. First i thought the the hose that connects the fuel filter to the engine poped out becuse this happend last week .
How can I do the compression test ?
all the fuses are ok

To run an engine needs, spark, gas, and compression. Start by checking the spark, then check for fuel. Take your spark plugs out and look at them, are they wet, are they fouled? Then if those 2 things are fine, do a compression check. Do a search you will find out how to do one. Or if you have a haynes manual its in there also.
Here is what you do:
1) Compression check
2) Spark Check
3) Fuel Check
1) Remove the leading plugs(one rotor at a time meaning you do this twice) and the EGI fuse from the main box in the engine bay. Crank the bitch over with the throttle to 100% If you hear three even pulses then that rotor has atleast SOME compression across all three cumbustion chambers. Check the other rotor's(making sure to place the plug you had already removed back in) compression in the same fashion. If you hear only one pulse you lost a seal if you hear only spinning and no pulses then you lose 2 or all the seals in that rotor.
If your engine has even one rotor with bad compression you will need to rebuild your engine or put it another engine as a replacement.
2) Spark- what I do is pull all the plugs but leave the wires intact on them and crank. You should see the sparks easily. If you don't get sparks note which ones(if not all) don't have spark and then check that/those coils/ignitors.
3) fuel- you can check the plugs for gas residue when you pull them. You can also use the fuel system test plug by jumpering it(use a wire or paper clip, anything conductive....) and turn the ignition to ON(i think) and you should start to hear the fuel system(gasoline wirring around) the pump should also be audible in low noise environments, if not just open the hatch and listen at the floor the pump is right below.

umm try searching on how to test the coils or go to www.teamfc3s.org and look at the factory service manual, im not sure how to test them.
