Car bogs out at 90 mph

My car seams to bog out at around 120-130 kmh.. Can a jspec ecu cut your speed at around there? I'm not sure if my ecu is jspec or aspec, not sure. Any help would be appreciated.. thanks!

This was happening when my cat went bad, I couldnt go faster than 80 something miles per hour in 3rd or 4th.

Can you rev to 8000 freely still?

With an american dash there is no speed limiter, as being discussed elsewhere jspec dashes cut off at 180km/hr..... you remove a screw in the back where it says 180, but this doesnt sound like your issue.

well its a t2 with a jspec s4 engine with s5 rotors and counter weights, street ported. I have 2.75 straight back with an apexi n1 muffer, no cats.. i wonder if i'm hitting fuel cut? I can rev to 8000 i think, i dont go that high though yet since i only have about 900 kms on the engine
