Car back together, engine won't start now help?
Ok, I took the upper intake off yesterday in hopes that I could clean out the sleeves, but that didn't happen. Got too complicated for me to finish the job, so I decided to just turn around and let the car run as is. Well, last night somehow the alternator cable was exposed and my TB fell on that plug piece and sparked. So today I put the car back together the exact same way I took it apart, all plugs, connectors, and vac lines are back in place. tried to start the car and it didn't respond. Thought the battery mighth ave died so i tried to jump it and it still didn't start, so now I'm wondering what could be wrong. The dome lights work inside the car, hazards, and headlights work, but the radio doesn't turn on when you set it to acc, nor does the car choose to start when you to start it
So I don't know what happened could use any help from anyone.

*Edit
Checking the fuses in the engine bay I see that the 80a "main" fuse doesn't look like the others in the car. All the smaller fuses have a solid copper connecton in them, where as with the 80a fuse it has a gap in the copper with blackened edges... Would / could this be it?

first check the ones in the engine bay. drivers side, near strut tower bar and battery.
check all fuses, but most important being the 80A main fuse. to check if its blown, just look through the window on top of it. you should see a copper filament. if its broken, its blown. if the fuse looks like it got burnt, melted, its blown.
if those check out, check the ones inside the car. drivers side kickpanel, right behind the dead pedal. if you don;t have a fuse tester (14 bucks with a pack of new fuses at Kragen), then your only choice is to pull each individual one and check. again, look through the fuse from the side and check the filament. burnt, melted, broken...the fuse is blown.
also, whenever you work on your car, disconnect the battery.

Yup, that is it just go buy a nw one form mazda or autozone or somthing like that, they should sell it. Also go threw the other fuses and check them to, you probably blew more than one. If they are blown they will be kindof burnt looking on the inside.
