Hi guys, kinda dumb question here. My mom went to NAPA to get me some new brake pads, and they canme in two seperate boxes, but the pads look the same. So I can't tell the difference between them. Does anyone know how to tell the difference? The cars an 89 GTU btw.

 

well probably one box is front, and one box is rear

 

Yeah I know, but they're both in generic boxes, ones a little bigger than the other, but the pads themselves look the exact same.

 

OK, I'm guessing that the larger ones are for the front brakes and the smaller pads are for the rear is that correct? Because in one box the pads are signifigantly larger than the pads in the other box.
