What year car? NA or turbo???
There is a long bolt under the secondary fuel rail on the NA that is easy to miss....Also, have you gotten all the bolts on the drivers side off? Disconnected the metering oil pump rod?
Also, might want to invest in a Haynes or shop manual.

Besides the 3 nuts and 1 bolt retaining the Upper Intake to the Lower Intake, there are 3 more bolts you need to remove the Upper Intake In whole.
The first one Is behind the Alternator attached to a metal plate like pilliar. the next two are the same except they bolt onto a Y palte. The trick with this Is to remove the Accelerated Warm up Valve (beside Bac Valve). It has a V shaped Air Hose. After removing that you will see the Y shaped pilar. Loosen off the bolts (don't remove). Gently attempt to remove the Intake. Better safe than sorry than report back.
