Can't get cold start bottle off and need the bracket

I just get the cruise control system off a car in the junkyard. I need the bracket under the cold start bottle to mount it to, but I don't see how to get it off. The only thing I found when I searched was one person said to just yank it off. That seems like it might damage the bracket, so is there another way?

You pull teh CSA bottle off by pulling it towards teh black canister(forgot its name) it may help to remove teh canister first to get that extra few inches of room.

Nope, just pull. It will come off, trust me.

Ok, just making sure I wasn'g going to break the bracket, because I don't know of another cruise equipped car around here, and definately not a place where they don't care about small stuff. I got the whole cruise control system for 20 bucks.
