Passenger side, inside the car, underneath the kickpanel under the dash.

Pull up the carpet on the passenger side and there should be an angled metal panel under there with some nuts holding it down. Undo those nuts, take the panel off, and there's your ECU.

Where exactly on the driver side? Up near the dash against the wall? Or what? How big? Color? There are a few CPU/control units on the driver side.

Along with the CPU, your cruise computer is also located on the drivers side kickpanel area.
