can your aux ports get too much pressure?

I should finally have my electronic six port induction working in the next week or so. My question is this: can too much air pressure damage the actuators? The factory training manual says it only needs like 1.8 Psi or something and I'm using a pretty badass pump.

I'm using an 12 volt LT1 Corvette smog pump because I know it can handle continuous use and hot engine bay temperatures. I used a hose and a bunch of fittings to constrict the air down so that I can fit a line on there that will go to the actuators. I haven't put a pressure gauge to it, but it feels like it's blowing pretty strong. Will I have to bleed some pressure off or something? I don't want to break anything. Once I get new gaskets in for the actuators I should have this thing running.

Too much pressure could damage the actuators like anything else...But it's doubtfull that your Corvette pump will make mroe then 2-3 PSI.

Sounds good. I'm glad I got this thing instead of some autozone special that will die on me quickly. It took a while to figure out how to wire it up though...
