Can you pull pilot bearing without removing flywheel?!!!!!!!!!

Can the pilot bearing be removed without taking off fly wheel?

Yes.It is made easier if you have a proper bearing remover---Mazda special tool 49-1285-071 or equivalent.

no you dont need to remove the flywheel.

it can be removed w/o pulling the flywheel

I took a small punch and drove it next to the e shaft and the bearing carefully! Then took a flathead screwdriver and bent it inward untill I could remove it with needles nose pliers. done in 2 minutes
