when i drive in 1st and 2nd gear its ok when i put it into 3rd my car shakes alot! only on the passenger side. does any 1 kno wut that could be?? its not my tires cuz i got 2 new fronts tires put on 2 days ago. oh btw, i have a 89 gtu 5 pd. (just in case ya'll ask)

is the shaking related to speed or the gear? i know my car shook at like 85,,you can be in from like 3rd or 4th and be at 85...just s generall question..it may be the rear end or a CV joint( i think thats waht its called)

 

my car shakes at 1k in 5th gear....but isnt this normal lol

 

lol no i measn like alot. lol yea its prob motor mount. it shakes at high speeds soom times low but like when i put it in 4th and im going 60 it shakes like if its gonna come off lol. oh and i have another question where id the clutch petal free play suppose to be at??? on my gtu its like ALL the way to the top! is that bad???

 

If it is only at a particular speed (regardless of what gear you are in) then you have a wheel not balanced.

And yes even if the wheels were just balanced two days ago. You could have knocked off a balance weight when mounting or had a bad wheel.

 

My Car Shakes as well but i does it when im in nutrual as well as driving, After i started my car and it warms up, if i rev my car to 3 to 4K It begins to Shake like a earthquake, If im driving and i get to speeds 100 plus its not as bad but around the 3 to 5k its really bad.
