Got the new turbo on...but won't start..?

well, i put the new turbo in today...stock s4 w/ ported wastegate and totally rebuilt thanks to Lil Red

anyways, so i get her all bolted up and she won't start. she turns over and over and over...but never fires. i checked the spark plugs and they didn't seem to jump any spark or fire but i recall my integra doing the same thing :\ any way i could check to make sure it is getting fuel and spark any other way? i also have a fuel cut switch that i played with but it did the same thing each way i turned it (on and off) so i'm stumped :\

she started right up before i took the turbo out and replaced it with this one (2 weeks ago)....so thanks in advance guys almost there!!!!

my guess is that it has low compression,
needs alittle oil and spun a few times,
then crank that sucka.

it will smoke like a SOB at first but it will clear out

hey guys, i found some wires that are in the bundle w/ the o2 sensor wire running from the front of the motor towards the o2 sensor...what are all the wires connected in there and where should they be connected? the only one i see that is connected is the o2 sensor...could this be part of the problem??
thanks.

LoL
Isn't that the BAC? there should be a hose going to the plastic instake before the TB and the wiring certainly should be better!

Sorry to hear about your troubles collin. Have you pulled the plugs, do they look wet, it could possibly be flooded. They are right on what that is, i was mistaken when you asked me yesterday, like I said, been a while since I have been under the hood of an FC.

Looking at that picture again its obvious the BAC has been bypassed, since there is no hose going either to or from it. That is not an issue for you since you don't have emissions , but it might cause a bit of a rough idle since the sensor will get a bad signal, and I am unsure if that would effect your starting or not.

this is the BAC valve and the VAC line which is going to/from the BAC valve is pluged in! it's the black line which is holded in place by 2 shells... it goes to this pipe between the IC and the Turbo...

i think the other hose has to go up to the AWS (???) Valve which is left from the intercooler

the 2 other plugs on the BAC are only for water-hoses... they are not needed if you reroute them!

specifically, would that hacked up bit of wire connected next to the intercooler pipe cause it not to start? (the one w/ teh white tape around it) i plan on redoing it when i get back home later tonight, i was j/w what that wire goes to and IF it would cause the car not to start...if not...i'm stumped...again :P
