can rear defroster lines (wires) be fixed?

My rear defroster used to work perfectly, now there are 2 or 3 of the wires that aren't doing their job. I used to live down a bumpy road, maybe the vibration got to them?

is this something that can be fixed, or SOL?

thanks

There are repair kits available that are a paint on copper with a stencil that is the same width as the line. I have used them many times with pretty good results. I think Permatex makes it but I am not sure on that. You should be able to find one at your local parts store or online.

I have lost 4 wires over the years.
The FSM body electrical section describes the diagnostic & repair procedure.
