Can the main pulley be installed Incorrectly??
I am having some issues with my timing since installing my new motor.. I am second guessing the main pulley as I am having issues timing it.. I thought that the pulley with the 4 bolts could only be installed 1 way but I am thinking that this may not be true... Can anyone clarify?

Wait.. ALSO- Just remembered that I am using the pulley off the original s4t2 engine.. Not the pulley off the s5 t2 engine... Would there be a difference in the s5 and s4 timing marks??

i have always heard to use the pulley from the same motor as each motors timing marks could be different.
it could also be that the s4 pulley with the different locations of the spark plugs for the s5 could be throwing you off.
i hoped any of this information helps
