Can I Use Fuel Injector Cleaner?
I dunno, but can I use fuel injector cleaner on my rotary? I asked the previous owner, and he said that he never tried using it. Can I? -thanks

I used some Gunk FI cleaner because I had the 3800 RPM hesitation problem. After doing some battery terminal cleaning and installing some ground wires from my AFM and secondary injector fuel rail to the chassis, the problem is gone. But you have to run it hard to clear out the secondaries because they only come on at and above 3800 RPM, according to other threads here that I have read.

Maybe you should just buy some remanufactured fuel injectors for your car. It makes more sense than cleaning them with something you're not sure will hurt your engine or not. It's a good idea to replace your injectors every 100K or so. They see thousands of gallons of fuel by that time!

Fuel injector cleaner is fine. I run it every 4th fill up. Good maintenance item. Though the best thing is to have your injectors professionally cleaned, then start running cleaner. I have found that cleaner doesn't do a very good job of removing deposits, but does a great job of preventing them in the first place.

cleaner isn't going to remove 100k of deposits, that's when you just have to bite it, and get them profesionaly cleaned or rebuilt. RC eng/ Abilene Diesel injecton both did AWESOME work on. the diference was night and day. they're good maintenance items. Although too much of them will eat through fuel filter a bit more. But that's only if you really get carried away with the cleaner thing. that is like if you run it every tank full for like 2 months or so. Which by the way, should also be replaced periodically.
