can i drive around with my TPS unplugged
So your TPS right now doesn't even work? Your ECU will fail safe into a preset config if you unplug the TPS. I believe the TPS fail safe is telling the computer that it is wide open throttle when it is unplugged. Can you drive it unplugged? I couldn't even get mine to start when I unplugged it let alone drive it. Say it does start... I don't even know if it will idle or rev up. It will maybe rev up but cruising it will be running way rich
yep it bucked like crazy when driving
it starts and runs fine when unplugged.
just drove it around a little bit havent had any problems yet
except that i need a new oil pressure gauge again
(maybe its time to get a manual oil pressure gauge because the car keeps frying the oem ones...)

i did drive around for a bit the only problem that i noticed is back firing on deceleration if i leave it in gear so i imagen that its running quite rich
but besides for that it runs smooth
