Good price for a FC?

New to the forum , couple quick things always loved RX7s just never had the time / money to afford one. So i bought a turn and go civic and hate it

Anyways to the point lookin at getting a Turbo FC because even tho it was a civic it ran a 13.5 so i want something that can do that plus more.

I live in canada so my prices are different but here is one and i want to know if its good or not.

white 88 RX-7 10th AE t2
- RWD with factory LSD
- 5-speed
- Power everything, plus moon roof
- A/C still blows cold air
- leather seats

- 130-xxx on body
- 14k mazda remanufactured engine (means from mazda, not rebuilt by a shop)
- all fuilds have been changed as well center force stage 1 clutch

- car has never been been modded, expect the stereo
- never winter driven, always stored
- no accidents, clean title

Only issue is a tad bit of rust ( really small ) under you guessed it the rear wheel well. Its been lady driven. Issue also is no Deck in the car has all the wires just no deck . The asking price is 8000 canadian. Now ithought that was pretty solid for a new clutch and fresh engine.

Let me know , im trying to sell my civic so my price range is a bit lower until that is gone but yeah , Im willing to build up something or buy something and so forth. I dont know everything or even a lot about rx7s but im always into learnin so just let me know thanks once again

8k is not worth it. I would take it if it was a low mileage pristine 10th AE.

You have to take into consideration, that's 8K Canadia, which is about 5K US, if my currency knowledge is correct, but yeah, then it's definately worth it.

Your off by a lot =). 8000CAN is over 7000USD. Canadian currency has been going up a lot =). But yeah IMO it isn't worth it.

its clean . . . interior condition? gt under it and look harder for rust . . .
ITs a 10AE
limited numbers on those, its stock and fairly fresh motor . . .
but for 8k you could get something really spankin' elsewhere
an s5 Tii would be less
could grab a nice GTUs or S4GXL model and swap in a turbo motor (or turbo the na motor)
roll it over and keep looking, this is your money
i dropped $4500 for the only Targa roofed rx7 and the car was well worth it, i'm playing catch-up with the cars age though, plastic parts disintegrating etc.

it is a very clean car, i would buy it. 10th ae came in a limited number. finding them completely stock has become more of a challenge. so yeah, i would buy it, but it depends on what YOU want

I thought Canadian was only 50% on the dollar.

so that would be only$4k... in real money which would be pretty good price

pretty much tells you they are lieing about the never driven in winter (and probably a few other things as well).

good job bringing back a thread that is a couple years old.

Thread closed so no other newbies can bring up such a dead thread.
