can I cut out that big round bar in front of th car that the oil cooler bolts too... in front of the radiator? I would weld in another support bar somewhere else instead. I'm just putting in my new radiator for my V-mount, and its right where I want the radiator to go, so it would be really nice if I could cut it out, and put another cross support somewhere else. anything wrong with this? I'm just not sure exactly how much support that bar actually gives...

any help would be deeply appreciated.

You should be able to as long as your making another braket.

go for it, as long as you're putting the support back in. throw some pics our way of your cross support afterwards.

 

this would be an excellent time to get a front sway bar.
