i did the throttle body mod and there is nowhere for this coolant hose to go...

is this the source of the retarded coolant passage that goes all the way through the upper intake manifold back to the front cover?

you can block that one and the one on the front by the water housing.

or run a hose from one to the other.

Somwhere (I think its was Icemark) I heard that its not good to block it off but better to make sure it has somwhere to circulate.

You could either block It off or run a hose directly from the rear Iron Plate to the Nipple of the Water Pump Housing. I did the latter b'c the full TB Mod was done awhile the Motor was wet. Eitherwise, I would have tig-welded shut from the beginning.

I may make an attempt to welded It shut when I have the Manifold off to permanently remove the TMIC Bracket to make way for my GReddy FMIC Kit.

yeah i decided to cap it off

i heard a loud pop (i'm assuming it was that cap) and coolant shot all over my engine bay and windshield (driving with no hood right now) then i saw white smoke behind my car. so i pulled over and there was white smoke pooring out of my exhaust, then i let it idle for a second to make sure everything was ok and the smoke went away. then i started it again, smoke poored out the exhaust and it was having trouble running, then it went away and idled better... whats the deal with this? why is it coming out of my exhaust too?????? should this worry me?

i forgot to put a damn hose clamp on the nipple i capped off... i just walked 2 miles in the cold. i'll fix the damn thing tomorrow in the walgreens parking lot.

I think you answered your own question. You forgot to tighten the clamp. I take It your Manifolds aren't glassbeaded and clearcoated? Eitherwise, someone would be freaken on their Manifolds turning yellow on them from the hot coolant.

I had a small heating problem when I recently did that and blocked it off (there was also no heater on the car). It simple enough to go to Schuck's and ask for a hoose with a 90 degree bend in it (I just asked to see a few different ones and found one I liked). This is a better idea, as noted above many times.

...ah, I was trying to add humour to your stupid mistake of forgetting to put a clamp on. It seems you took that as a belittled statement.
