can i add a 3ed rotor/housein
can i add a 3ed rotor/housein
some one told me i could add another rotor/housin to the motor is this true ???and if so is there a write up on it and what kind of gines would u see ?????is it possable i have a n/a 88 13b
the reason i have a friend that has a extra housein and rotor jut not the shaft so i dident know if it was posable y would it cost ex 14k i have a lot of extra parts so just lookin for some stuff to do i would like to go turbo or some thing its a track car so monsy is goin to go in it so
a 3 rotor eccentric shaft is over $3k alone and is the base building block for a 3 rotor engine. the large iron housing would probably set you back close to $1k since mazda discontinued it, the EMS is $1500+ and fuel mods would be over $1k plus we haven't even talked about intake and exhaust yet...
He might be referring to "home made" 3 rotors. It involves a lot of machining, which you probably can't or don't want to do. Only a few have dared to even try. At Sevenstock I saw a home made 4 rotor claiming a little over 1000 HP. Something on it broke by the time Sevenstock came, though. It came from 12A's.
well the only 4 rotor e-shaft out there that is available is home brewed ones that cost over $4k from australia. 3 rotor e-shafts came in the 20B but aren't exactly growing on trees. he could try and pick up a used 3 rotor but the fat middle iron is still the big problem with rebuilds since they are no longer available.
well would it be better to just drop a 20b in there or is it not worth it ???and were could i find some exost man o fold flang with out the pipes or a temlet i have friends that work at cnc shops and they can cut me out one o and the demense of a turbo flange??? sorry so many ?s im a nub to rotorys but not a nub 2 cars

Here we go again...If you are serious about the 3 rotor, there is a 20B forum on this site. Their FAQ contains answers to every common question so it is the first place you should be checking.
People may seem a little rude because this topic comes up at least once every week. Someone starts dreaming about putting in a 20B or "just building a 4 rotor" but nothing ever comes from it...And these people always seem to have some money coming soon, yet we never hear from them again...

personally i think all 20b or 4 rotor talk should not be allowed on 2nd gen section, this is just getting redundant since it seems to happen more than once a week, more like 3-4 times a week.
How do I install a strut bar? A dual alternator pulley? How do I remove the stock shift ****? How do I whipe my ***?
I have 30k for my NA RX-7, how do I make 400HP? I have 1K for my mint 91 RX-7 - how do I make it loud to make my neighbors mad?

nah, about 5 gallons should fill it to the top of the filler.
what they need to do is put in place a 20 question test with answers in the FAQ to be sure people actually read it before posting. lately the number of idiots popping up around has been disturbing.
