yes you can but it is called a 20B and it costs about another $14k to build up so don't bother.

a 3 rotor eccentric shaft is over $3k alone and is the base building block for a 3 rotor engine. the large iron housing would probably set you back close to $1k since mazda discontinued it, the EMS is $1500+ and fuel mods would be over $1k plus we haven't even talked about intake and exhaust yet...

He might be referring to "home made" 3 rotors. It involves a lot of machining, which you probably can't or don't want to do. Only a few have dared to even try. At Sevenstock I saw a home made 4 rotor claiming a little over 1000 HP. Something on it broke by the time Sevenstock came, though. It came from 12A's.

well the only 4 rotor e-shaft out there that is available is home brewed ones that cost over $4k from australia. 3 rotor e-shafts came in the 20B but aren't exactly growing on trees. he could try and pick up a used 3 rotor but the fat middle iron is still the big problem with rebuilds since they are no longer available.

Here we go again...If you are serious about the 3 rotor, there is a 20B forum on this site. Their FAQ contains answers to every common question so it is the first place you should be checking.

People may seem a little rude because this topic comes up at least once every week. Someone starts dreaming about putting in a 20B or "just building a 4 rotor" but nothing ever comes from it...And these people always seem to have some money coming soon, yet we never hear from them again...

yup, tons of newbs from who knows where and none of them read the forum rules and all of them have seemingly unlimited budgets.

personally i think all 20b or 4 rotor talk should not be allowed on 2nd gen section, this is just getting redundant since it seems to happen more than once a week, more like 3-4 times a week.

How do I install a strut bar? A dual alternator pulley? How do I remove the stock shift ****? How do I whipe my ***?

I have 30k for my NA RX-7, how do I make 400HP? I have 1K for my mint 91 RX-7 - how do I make it loud to make my neighbors mad?

nah, about 5 gallons should fill it to the top of the filler.

what they need to do is put in place a 20 question test with answers in the FAQ to be sure people actually read it before posting. lately the number of idiots popping up around has been disturbing.

I wonder what caused the recent high numbers of new FC owners? The **** posts are getting very redundant.
