Never seen one before. Could be a one off or some really obscure kit. Or simply something I've never seen before, as previously stated.

I saw one of those in my junkyard once.
Realized it must be pretty rare and considered snagging it till I sat in the car and realized that you cannot see anything out the back.
With our already oversized B-pillars, rear vision (more accurately, rear side vision) is pretty poor, this hatch makes it absurd.
I walked away.

BTW wjk0817, it does open just like the stock hatch because it uses the stock hinges and latches.
It's pretty damn heavy though.

I could see how something like that could easily be lighter then the stock hatch. But it all depends on what its made of. Glass is heavy!

The version I saw was made of fiberglass, maybe 1/4" thick and was decidedly heavier than the stock hatch.

they make one for 4th gen camaro's where you can remove that little glass piece so it's more like a "targa" I wonder if this one can do that...

Probably about like driving a vert, but a bit worse.

I can't see ****. I do the 1,2,3 drill. 1)RV mirror 2)side mirror 3) take a peak out of the side window.

Many times I couldn't see a car next to me with only one of those. For example, I can't see it out of the window, or the RV mirror, but I can see it only in the side mirror.

clokker sure it had the struts on it? I know with carbon and FG hoods , its not recommended to put the struts on them.

It would have looked better painted black with tinted windows or have those lines shaved for a smooth look.
