can anyone break down exactly how to swap a s4 front cover ot a s5?

can anyone break down exactly how to swap a s4 front cover ot a s5?

I am hoping for pictures, tips, and or a step by step on how to replace the s5 front cover and omp to a s4 front cover and mechanical omp.

is it bolt up or does anything need to be modified?

this will be done out of the car so no cluch holding nessasary.

Why?

Are you converting over to an S4 stock ECU?
You know you can't run it with an S5 stock ECU cause the e-OMP will fault.

You will still need an S4 throttle body, cause the mechancal OMP runs a linkage back to the throttle body.
If you use the S4 TB, then you can't use the S5 stock ECU (with the double TPS).

See where this gets to be a pain in the ***?

Why not just premix?

I have a s4 car, and I am running a s5 engine, as in currently, as in i can co drive it right now.
it is losing compression, but I have a good mazda rebuilt block that im picking up which is an s5, so I need to know how that swap was done.

i just did this yesterday bc my LIM had a crack in it from the crackhead that owned it last.

go to the FAQ and look under engine. "can i put a s5 intake manifold on my s4?" its there.

let me kno how you did. my car isnt running now

Pull E-OMP and block off opening
Pre-mix

Why mess with removing the front cover and possibly trashing the engine due to a slipped bearing?
