Can an AFM be used post turbo?

Can an AFM be used post turbo?
Would using a stock S5 AFM as a blow through instead of a draw through work? Or would the boost levels damage the AFM?
My thoughts are to relocate the stock AFM post turbo. Obviously, with a stock TIMC this would be next to impossible, but for all those people who want to run an aftermarket BOV and a front mount, is this theoretically possible?

Back before the standalone EMS products were available on the international market, tuners would re-spring the AFM and place it after the turbo, and add on a fuel control box, ignition control box, boost control box, and sometimes an additional injector controller box. Now that you can get a standalone EMS for as little as $1,000 that performs all of these functions and completely eliminates the AFM, there isn't any point in bothering with all this trouble unless you want to model your car after the old Japanese tuner cars from the 80's.

You will have to make sure the couplings are on there really good or you risk having an additional area to worry about from couplings blowing off. It was pretty cool with that setup . I have no idea how it will work with the Mazda mafs, seems like the plunger type might become a restriction.
Ive seen a few FCs on japanese websites have a picture with the blow through maf setup.. sadly I can't read or remember the documentation on it since its just minkara (car blog site)
