Camber plates for stock style springs????
Camber plates for stock style springs????
Looking for camber plates that will work with my racing beat springs! Hard to find some that aren't specifically for coilover type applications. Anyone know of anything?
The cusco ones don't say they don't work... (usually they do mention it if they don't work with stock springs).
the springs don't sit on the top mount:

you might not be able to get a ton of adjustment though because the spring might hit the body since it's big... but I never ran camber plates with stock springs.

I could get about -1.5 degrees of camber before the spring hits the strut tower.
You can get close to that with a $20 set of camber bolts.

Wouldnt using a camber plate with lowering springs just raise the ride height back to stock? Therefore not needing camber plates to begin with? In my experiences camber plates raise the car about 1 inch.
^ It depends on the application. The rx7s stock mounts are pretty darn thick, so I would guess no:

Also most people get camber plates to add camber to make the handling better, not take out any camber that resulted from lowering the car.

Strut cars don't really gain camber from lowering anyway. A little bit if the A-arms angled down before but not much, and if you really lower it it comes right back out anyway after the A-arm swings past parallel.

i measured the camber curve a few years ago, and calling it a curve is misleading, its really flat.
