camber correction ideas

camber correction ideas

is there any other way to correct the rear camber other than the part that racing beat sells. i see alot of cars on the forum that have been lowered more than mine and the camber looks ok. i currently have eibach progressives and the tops of the tires lean in a little with only 3/4 inch drop.

they are surposed to lean in a bit. I think stock spec is -1 degree

My friends Camber on the rear was measure at 2.8 degrees camber like this:

The only way to do it is with a camber rod from RB or Mazdatrix or the like. The Eibachs on my TII a very excessive amount of wear on the insides of the rear tires. For a pure street application I can't think of why you'd want any more than -1*. If you hit the drag strip at all you'd want it pretty near 0* or even a bit of positive camber to get the tire near 0* when the suspension compresses on launch.

anybody know how much adjustment i can get with the camber adjuster from RB? i am thinking of switching to coilovers and going about 3/4 inch lower so i dont want my car to look like all the 80's model 300z's. those had terrible neg. camber.

Mine is lowered to 5" between the rocker panel and the ground (not sure what the actual drop measurement is) and there is plenty of adjustment for that. It should acommodate a 3/4" drop just fine.
