It goes right next to the diff. It will be vertical. The OEM one is just a plain rod that's not adjustable.

i dont know why, i cant get it to shorten..when i put the rod on the car i had to extend it all the way just so it would reach enough to bolt on. now that its on the car if i turn one side to shorten the opposite side gets longer & vice versa. is this right???

Take it out and make sure you have each end threaded in the same amount. Put it back in and bolt it up top and bottom. Turn the camber link itself to adjust it - don't unbolt it to adjust it.

What brand is your camber link?

It actually depends on which one you have. Some have to be adjusted off the car, some can be adjusted on the car.

That's the one I have. I'd pull it out and make sure each end is threaded close to the same amount, then bolt the upper and lower mounts in place and then turn the aluminum shaft itself to adjust it. Make it shorter to reduce camber (move top of tire away from car) or make it longer to increase camber (move top of tire towards car)

take it and make it 1/4 inch or so shorter then the the stock one that came off. you need to jack the subframe back up to line it up. don't make it longer to line up.

I got 1 too from Mazdatrix.

Be careful if you have lowered your car already, the diff might touch the sub frame when you acceclerate.
This happens when the sub frame is pulled up too high and the diff touches it.
I also had the front diff mount replaced because that was broken too
This is what happeing to me with about 1 inch drop on 16 inch wheels
i have to run a negative camber or i get this stupid noise.

take a BFH and dent the sub frame it will give you more adjustment room and stop that banging noise
