switched my tranny fluid to royal purple 70w90...
filled it up, 3 quarts, stick my finger in the fill hole to check, i had to bend the tip of my finger a little to touch oil... not far, its maybe 1/8 inch under the hole

just calm my mind and tell me its ok :/

It shouldn't hurt, was your car at an angle? Cause if the front of the car was higher then the back it'll throw off the level a bit and cause you to overfill it.

 

no it was on a lift, it was just too late to get more fluid and i was told 3 quarts was perfect

 

2.7 is correct per FSM if memory serves me right.

 

Definetely less than 3, i remember my car took like 2.5 quarts....you should be good.
