I have a 86 RX7 and the compressor is connected and the only thing it needs is the freon. When I go to push the button to the side to turn on the a/C nothing happens. Could someone help out and tell me what might be wrong. I dont understand it.
I have put freon in it with it running and still the switch does nothing. Not even make a noise. All the wires are working and connected but it still does nothing. Can someone give me step by step instructions on what to do? The previous owner told me that the compressor was new and the hoses were all vacummed out. He said all I needed to do was connect the compressor and it would work... I am new to this and have no idea on how to work on these cars. Oh and when I put freon in it the indicator went to yellow because its not turning on.

The blower doesnt turn on either. I just move the switch to the right and nothing happens.

Any help you could provide would be great.

 

does your fan blow at all? like without the a/c on? if all else fails take it to an ac shop they should be able to tel lyou wants up without charging you

 

The fane does not blow at all... Nothing turns on...I dont get it..
