A/C hose length?
Anyone tell me the length of the hose from the compressor to condenser? Only the black rubber portion in the picture. I had a hose made up but it appears to be way to long so that it stresses the fittings. I need to have it redone so I wanted to know the correct length. Thanks! 90 vert

About 15", edge of the fitting to edge of the fitting. That does not include what is under the crimp.
I couldn't get exact, but that's pretty close. I did remove the battery and battery tray, but my wife and I were just leaving for Cinco de Mayo, so I couldn't get dirty...I need non-leaking oil cooler lines.
I have had the same problem with hose makers. They do not want the hose to be too short, so they add a couple of inches. You don't have the original, so you can't prove they did it wrong. Sometimes it doesn't work out so well, like this time. Last couple of times I measure the hose before they make it, note the orientation of the fittings and make them put it on the work order.

Hey Jackhild this is exactly what I need. Mine was measured 17 inches (crimp edge-crimp edge), which over stressed the install points. I'll get it redone to ~15 inches. Lol you took time to take the battery tray out-appreciate that! Hope you enjoy Cinco de Mayo.
